In just 8 weeks, you will learn the basics on a linguistic, cultural and practical level with language trainer Leen. This will help you build stronger and more lasting relationships with your Chinese partners.

This training is perfect for you if your native language is Dutch or English and you have no prior knowledge or minimal basic knowledge of Chinese.
What will you learn in this 1-on-1 online Chinese training?
- Introduce yourself and the company
- Show respect and effort by presenting yourself and your company in simple Chinese phrases. Your business partners will surely appreciate this and remember you in a positive way.
- At the trade fair
- how do you ask for the right person (e.g., “Who is the sales manager for Europe?”) or for someone who speaks English?
- Learn the main job titles in Chinese, so you understand the name tag right away and know if you are with the right person.
- At the restaurant
- how do you call the server? In China, it's not common for a waiter to come to your table regularly to check if everything is to your liking.
- The form of politeness in Chinese
- Typical short phrases
- from “Pleased to meet you” to “Thank you for the warm welcome” - learn the essential phrases.
- Minor language differences that can cause confusion:
- 对 (duì) means “correct” in Chinese, but translates to “yes” in English. So what do they mean: yes or no?
- Respectful mannerisms: learn proper etiquette for accepting business cards and shaking hands.
- Essential apps to use during your business trip to China.

Our focus is on pronunciation, not writing. However, we can teach you to use the tools available for writing. Of course, the entire language training is personalized to your specific needs.
